School of Enameling

Ricky Frank is one of the best instructors I have ever experienced. First, he is a master at his art, both in design and execution. In addition, he excels at a talent few artists have...a systematic approach to teaching the process of enameling that advances both the novice and the expert. He's always "pushing the edges" of his knowledge and in so doing, helps us develop our thought process as artists, not just our technical skills. It's a joy to spend time in his studio and I recommend him highly for students of all levels.

Ricky Frank School of Enameling

The Ricky Frank School of Enameling is founded on the principle that enameling and in particular the technique of Cloisonne does not have to be complicated. Having enameled for over 35 years, I have been able to figure out some simple methods of teaching so even beginners will be able to create breath-taking enamel pieces suitable for setting into a piece of jewelry. I strive to meet all students at whatever level they are on, and to share my passion for this incredible art form.

The School is based in my home studio in Marietta, Ga, just north of Atlanta. Most workshops are 2 days, Saturday and Sunday. Ongoing weekly classes are also offered.
